Xaloy Hires Leader for Sales Push in Latin America

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (Jan. 30) – Artemio “Art” Palos has joined Xaloy Inc. as sales manager for Latin America. He previously represented Xaloy as an independent sales agent covering Mexico, the border area of Texas and Central America. 

“I am very pleased to welcome Art Palos to our sales management team,” said Gunther Hoyt, executive vice president of Xaloy. “His experience and knowledge of plastics materials, processing and machinery make him an invaluable asset to Xaloy and to our agents and customers in Latin America.”

In his new capacity with Xaloy, Mr. Palos’s mission is to build sales in Mexico and Central and South America. To that end, he plans to recruit additional reps and increase support of existing agents.

For five years prior to joining Xaloy, Mr. Palos was principal of Palmex Group LLC, McAllen, Texas. His company represented various machinery OEMs in addition to Xaloy in Mexico and Central America. He holds a M.Sc. in Materials Science from the University of North Texas.
